Six Spartans set to show their skills at NFL Combine

The NFL Combine will officially open Wednesday, but no former Spartans will participate in the first day’s activities at Lucas Oil in Indianapolis.

According the schedule, the first players to report are offensive lineman, special teams players and tight end — of which no former MSU players were invited.

Edwin Baker, Kirk Cousins, B.J. Cunningham and Keshawn Martin will be in the second wave, which arrives Thursday. The quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers will go through three days of interviews, examinations and physicals before participating in drills on Sunday.

In the next group, Jerel Worthy will come in and go through a similar schedule of three days of various tests before going through drills on Monday.

Finally, Trenton Robinson will come in Saturday, then workout Tuesday.
